Thank you for joining me for this wonderful “By Royal Appointment Guest Blog” post. This is something we will be doing every Monday and each week we will be welcoming a different designer from our amazing team, the Royal Stampers.
This week our guest designer is the wonderful Lola from Munich, Germany. A huge thank you to her for this project. All the details can be found below as well as on Lola‘s website where you can look at her other beautiful creations. If you would like to purchase any of the Stampin’ Up! items used for this project, click on the product photos below. You will be taken to my Online Shop where you can find more information and order craft products 24/7. Enjoy the amazing creativity from the wonderful Lola and if you have any questions, please drop me a message.
Happiness can have many, many forms. Normally I’m not happy when I’m cleaning, but without cleaning, I couldn’t have made this little bags.
If you look closely, you’ll see that I have sewn the bags. Yes, you can sew paper! The softer the paper, the better you can sew it. I probably wouldn’t try to stitch Designer Special Paper as I suppose it is too sturdy and would tear. But I was lucky I found a bag with old Stampin’ up! wrapping paper, that is perfect!
This paper is just cut into little rectangles and then sewn together. And since it is paper, you can stamp it with whatever motifs you like. I used a really great set for little pressies: DELIGHTFUL DAY. One could even do birthday pressies using it, but I like the little random acts of kindness. All you need in addition is the odd punch and you’re good to go.
