Having already made a simple Hydrangea Hill Mothers Day Card I wanted to do something completely different but still showcase this gorgeous paper.
As part of the Hydrangea Hill Suite, Stampin’ Up! have included coordinating Mercury Glass Designer Acetate. This part transparent sheet is silver one one side but flip to over and there is a choice of Highland Heather or Rococo Rose colours, perfect for adding a little something different to this project. A point to note is that there is a clear plastic film on the backing to be removed, this protects the sheet whilst you trim or emboss.
After folding back the front of the card to allow you to see the inside of the card, I’ve used the Subtle embossing folder to add texture to the patterned paper as well as one of the layers of front Stitched So Sweetly die cuts.
Using a dauber, I’ve picked up the Gorgeous Grape colours on the edges of the die cuts for the sentiment, and have used the clear Wink of Stella to highlight the leaves.
It’s all tied together with the sheer ribbon and a few rhinestones to finish.
It’s truly gorgeous, wouldn’t you agree?
