As you probably noticed from my recent blogs I really like the Grace’s Garden stamp set, so much so that I’ve not even broken out the matching dies yet – Time to remedy that I think!
The set is designed around a garden gates with option to either die cut to make a fancy fold or 3d card, or as I’ve done here you can simply stamp and colour.
I’ve teamed the gate with a set of flowers on either side, which I’ve die cut stuck directly on to the card front so they overlap the wood of the gate, just as they would in a cottage garden. I’ve also added another bed of flowers on dimensionals to add depth to the garden.
Don’t you think that little kitten is wondering what to do with the bird – pounce or play?
The card has been coloured using blends, before mounting on a layer of Daffodil Delight cardstock and adding a hand cut sentiment.
A very simple scene created using a single stamp set. I really do love Grace’s Garden!
